Mix Directive

Private beta opening soon

From scattered stems to a release-ready track.

Mix Directive is a desktop finishing studio for stems and multitracks — whether they came from an AI tool, a sample pack, a collaborator, or your own sessions. Organise a big library, mix with per-stem effects, clean up problem stems in a click, and prepare a clean master — without rebuilding every idea in a full DAW.

The preview here is a stylised mockup — real screenshots land as the beta opens.

Why it exists

Stems pile up faster than they get finished.

Most tools help you make more material. Mix Directive is built for the messy middle after that — scattered stems, competing versions, and tracks that need real judgement and a little cleanup before they're worth releasing. It gives you a focused place to finish them, without spinning up a full DAW session for every idea.

What's inside

A real finishing toolkit, in one desktop app.

Organise a big library

Scan folders and ZIP archives, auto-dedupe, tag, and audition an entire catalogue of stems from one place.

Mix, not re-track

A multi-track mixer with per-stem FX chains, levels, and instant A/B between versions — built for finishing a track, not building one from scratch.

Fix problem stems

Native noise gate, de-clicker, and adaptive denoiser clean up hiss, clicks, and noisy takes without leaving the app.

One-click cleanups

Mix Directive flags noisy or clipped stems and can repair them in a single click, so problems never reach your master.

Bring your own plugins

Host your VST3 effects alongside the native tools, including a dedicated sub / bass builder for tightening low end.

Finish and export

Guided finishing chains, batch tools for large catalogues, and clean export targets for a release-ready handoff.

Work from AI platforms like Suno is a natural fit — there's a companion downloader for pulling stems with their metadata — but nothing about Mix Directive is tied to one source.

Beta note

Early means useful, not finished.

Mix Directive beta software is being actively developed. Keep independent backups of your audio, stems, project notes, and export files. Beta builds may contain bugs and should never be the only copy of important work.

Small private tester group first.
macOS Apple Silicon likely first.
Windows x64 next when builds are ready.
Downloads will be sign-in gated later.
