Find the song you want.

Point Mix Directive at your download folders. It keeps the originals in place while building a searchable library around the music you already have.

02 · Shape the mix

From Library to a working mix.

Adjust the vocals, drums, bass, and instruments separately. These parts are called stems. Studio supports up to nine stems in a song.

Start with Auto-Mix or build the mix yourself using the included effects. You can also use your own VST3 plugins.

03 · Keep the good decisions

Keep the versions you like.

Saved mix versions stay in your history, so you can compare directions instead of overwriting the one that worked.

Add a note about what changed, so you can find the version you liked later.

Does my music get uploaded anywhere?

No. Mix Directive is a desktop app, and your songs, stems, lyrics, artwork, and exports stay on your machine. Optional usage information is off by default. Even if you turn it on, it never includes your music, filenames, folder locations, prompts, or lyrics.

Do I need stems, or can I use a finished track?

Either works. Stems give you the most control — you can fix a harsh vocal without touching the drums. With a finished track you can still polish the overall sound and check it before sharing.

What can I bring in?

ZIP files, folders, and individual audio files, along with other versions, artwork, lyrics, and song details. Songs are previewed without extracting the archive first, so a large library stays quick to move through.

What does it cost while it is in beta?

Nothing, and accepted testers get the complete feature set. The Free and Pro plans on the pricing page start when Mix Directive leaves beta.
